APNS Apple Push Notifications for Chat only working when Jabber for Windows closed

Hello Community,

i have configured APNS according to the guide along with cucm 11.5(1)SU5, CUCM IMP 11.5(1)SU5a, Expressways X8.11.4

and it works fine so far.

but when i open my Jabber for Windows (tested with 12.5(1) and 12.1(1)) and klick into one Chat message, APNS stops sending Chat Messages to my iPhone.

When i close the Chat Windows it still doesn't work.

as soon as i close Jabber for Windows is works again.

is this the desired behavior?

is there any document which describes this?

Yes, I believe this is desired. The Multi-Device Messaging feature initially forks a conversation to all active XMPP JIDs; however, once you respond from one client (ie JID) it stops notifying other clients.
