Hi,
I'd already few times the issue, that users accidentally recorded their own name for the voicemail greeting but didn't say their name and just hang up - so instead of the computer voice saying their name they have now just "audio trash".
Is there any way from the administration webinterface to delete their custom "recorded name" and switch back to the computer voice? Till now i always deleted their whole voicemail and re-created it but there has to be some easier way for sure :)
We're using Cisco Unity Connection 10.5.
Thanks,
Thomas

Hi Thomas,
An excellent way with Unity Connection is with the use of this great tool from the fine suite of Unity Tools (** reset feature**);
Unity Connection Bulk User Delete
For resetting users you have the option of emptying the mailbox , resetting greetings, deleting voice names, resetting passwords, removing private lists and a number of other options you may choose. For installations where the user base “changes over” frequently such as schools this may be a nicer option. This option is also allowed for CoRes installations since it does not involve the removal of user objects from the Connection database.

It says "This tool does NOT work with Business Edition (co resident Connection and Call Manager) installations." This means the old BE5K.
BE6K ist not co resident (Unity Connection and CUCM on the same server).
This Tool should work for BE6K / BE7K

Thanks, that tool would be perfect but unfortunately we are running a BE6000.
At this tool is written "This tool does NOT work with Business Edition" :(
