Hi Everyone,

And Happy New Year from my site to all in support Community. I am having CUCM 8.0.3 One Pub and two Sub,When I am trying to schedule the backup it’s not working successfully its giving me errors in TFTP and MOH, my SFTP Server is fine means I am able to
ping SFTP Server from CUCM. In the case of manual backup the results are the same. I am using SFTP on windows 2003 Server.

Regards,

KM.

The TFTP backup file is mostly quite large.

I would suspect an issue with your TFTP server.

From:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/drs/8_0_2/drsag802.html

Cisco uses the following servers for internal testing. You may use one  of the servers, but you must contact the vendor for support:

Open SSH (refer to http://sshwindows.sourceforge.net/)

Cygwin (refer to http://www.cygwin.com/)

Titan (refer to http://www.titanftp.com/)

Cisco does not support using the SFTP product freeFTDP. This is because of the 1GB file size limit on this SFTP product.

Hi Khalid,

Please go into the serviceability page and restart th DRF Master and DRF Local under the "Network Services" on all nodes and try the back up again.

The other thing that could be happening is that the SFTP client that you are using might not support the size of the file that you are trying to backup. e.g. FreeFTPd supports up to 1GB of data being sent to it but after that it becomes very unreliable. If after the restart of the services you were still experiencing the issue, try a different SFTP server.

I hope this information helps.

Cheers,

Farbod

Farbod,

Thanks for your reply, i have tried this before as well but results are the same, But now i will try with different SFTP.

Regards,

KM

Hi Khalid,

Is the DRF component able to connect to your Sub ? A screenshot of the backup page would help.

Also, SSH to the Pub and get the output of 'show open ports regexp 4040' and 'utils firewall ipv4 list'
