Hi,

Can a solar winds be used in monitoring the CUCM version 10 and other Unified Communication application like CUC,CUPS, UCCX. Can you verify if all we need to do in the CUCM side is to enable the SNMP services.

Thank you

You don't do that on CUCM. On CUCM, you just create the community string and provide the IP Address of your SNMP server. Rest everything in terms of OID and MIBs will need to be configured on the SNMP server itself.

What all you will need to configure on CUCM is mentioned in the guide I provided above. All of the possible configuration for setting up SNMP strings etc will be under Cisco Unified Serviceability page on CUCM and not on OS Administration.

Deepak

As long as you are using the correct OID and MIBs, I really do not see a problem why it will not work on Solar Winds.

Hi,

Thank you very much for your response. Where can I configure the  OID and MIBs, on the CUCM do I need to access the CUCM OS CLI?

Thank you
