CUCM Upgrade - Required Common Partition

Hello Team,

I will perform CUCM minor upgrade from 11.5 SU3 to 11.5SU6

I was running ciscocm.preUpgradeCheck-00022.cop.sgn on each node and noticed something,

Publisher:

*) You have 42 GB of required 25 GB common partition space required to

upgrade.

Subscriber:

*) You have 51 GB of required 14 GB common partition space required to
upgrade.

As far as I remember, I need 25GB of free space for inactive partition, am I wrong?

Second of all, these outputs made me little bit confused, would you please explain?

You are correct that you need 25GB free for the upgrade, that is if you use local DVD to source the upgrade ISO. If you use SFTP/FTP you would need 25GB + the size of the upgrade ISO, so around 32GB.

For the confusion part I think it's just the wording that is a bit convoluted.
