FAX to email over SIP Trunk

Hello Guys,

Does anyone know how to configure CME or CUCM to receive fax over SIP trunk (G711alaw only) and send it to email? We're using BE6KS 11.x version

You need a third party application to do this. I seem to recall that RightFax did this, but Google is your friend here.

I'm with Gordon here that you should use an ecosystem partner to implement this. I'm a fan of XMediusFAX.

You may see mentions of a T.37 Store-and-Forward Fax option on Cisco IOS; however, it isn't supported on a SIP trunk (VoIP dial-peer) since a DSP is not invoked for that call flow.
