IP Phone issues after upgrade to CUCM 8.5(su5)

We currently went from CUCM 7.1(5) to 8.5(su5) over the weekend. Since then we are having issues with 7962 and 7942 phones not being able to select ring tone and the directories are not working. We are also not able to connect to the IP phones ip adress from CUCM administration using HTTPS. Do to audit findings we had to change the HTTPS server to https only on all phones while on 7.1(5) which worked fine and we could see the phones by browsing the the ip using https. After the upgrade this is not working a a wide range of phone models. I contacted tac and they think the issue is ITL files on the 7962 and 7942 phones but can not find a resolution to the https browsing issue. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you using the latest  firmware for the phones? Have you tried what George suggest?

Have you tried deleting the ITL files on a phone? Its under Settings->Security configuration on the phone itself.

Please rate useful posts.

We have deleted the ITL on some of the phones having issues with the Directories and Ringlist and it seemed to fix that issue. However we still can not browse to the updated phones ip address using Https.

The phone are on SCCP42.9-3-1SR1-1S firmware.

Under Device->Phone you need to check a box allowing the HTTPS access, if you have done that... is there any phone with that firmware (SCCP42.9-3-1SR1-1S) to which you have access?
what about other phone models? are they accessible via HTTPS (just to discard that is not a firewall issue)

We have all our phones set to https only. If we change them to allow http we can view there setting via there ip address. It is effecting all our phone models no matter the firmware. This only started after upgrading to 8.5 it worked fine in 7.1(5)

Just wanted to post an update on this issue. Once I upgraded the different phone models to the lastest firmware 9-4-2-1S it fixed the issue with using https to get the the phones settings through its ip address.

Thanks
