Managing Cisco CUCM Phones

I have two 10.5 clusters with approximately 20 000 handsets distributed over 60 - 70 sites. Is there a tool or way to interrogate CUCM to determine how many phones at a particular site are registered.

Our call manager configuration creates individual devices pool per site but CUCM Admin only seems to show the number of phones configured and you can't filter on status.

You can see device registration counts per-node in RTMT. It won’t be Device Pool specific but assuming you’re only working on one site at a time, comparing before and after is hopefully sufficient.

Also possibly look at Device Search:

Another option is to present them a quote for the necessary time to develop a tool that does exactly what they want.

You can use dependency records, but that would show anything that is using that DP.

Assuming DP/location are properly associated, use BAT export and then filter based on those fields.

Thanks  - need some tool or process that can be automated and used by non-CUCM trained staff. My customer has thrown a curve ball at me by suddenly asking for phone registration checks post Cisco switch IOS upgrades. A sh cdp neigh check pre and post used to be acceptable.
