HI,
Prime Collaboration is new to me. I have recently installed it on a UCS 220 server and added CUCM 9.1 to device setup. However, I do not know how to create the batch upload file. I have used
Order Type User ID Firstname LastName ProductName Service Area MacAddress PhoneType PhoneButtonTemplate
as my heading and saved it as a tab delimited file but it says no headers provided. Any Ideas ? And can you also provide some guidaince in obtaining the sample batch file.
Regards
Dwayne Rattan

Dwayne,
I don't see the Doman heading in the list above. This may be causing the problem. Below is an example I have used:
OrderType UserID FirstName LastName Domain ProductName Phone Type ServiceArea MAC Address Phone Button Template Line Type Voicemail Alias Voicemail Display Name
add rsmith4 Richard Smith4 CISCOUS Enhanced Phone Service Cisco 7960 Atlanta 123456789096 Standard 7960 SCCP Auto-Assigned Line rsmith4 Richard
add ksmith4 Kathy Smith4 CISCOUS Enhanced Phone Service Cisco 7960 Atlanta 123456789100 Standard 7960 SCCP Auto-Assigned Line ksmith4 Kathy Smith
add ssmith4 Susan Smith4 CISCOUS Enhanced Phone Service Cisco 7960 Atlanta 123456789104 Standard 7960 SCCP Auto-Assigned Line ssmith4 Susan
add djames Don James4 CISCOUS Enhanced Phone Service Cisco 7960 Atlanta 123456789108 Standard 7960 SCCP Auto-Assigned Line djames4 Don
Below is an example of a mixed order type batch where mulitple things are being done:
OrderType UserID FirstName LastName Domain ProductName Phone Type ServiceArea MAC Address Phone Button Template Line Type Processor Name Director Number Info
add ksmith Kathy Smith CISCOUS Enhanced Phone Service Cisco 7961 Atlanta 123456789100 Standard 7961 SCCP Auto-Assigned Line
add ssmith Susan Smith CISCOUS Enhanced Phone Service Cisco 7970 Atlanta 123456789104 Standard 7970 SCCP Auto-Assigned Line
add djames Don James CISCOUS Phone Service Cisco 9971 Atlanta 123456789108 Standard 9971 Auto-Assigned Line
add icadmin IC Administrator CISCOUS Call Pickup Group Atlanta CUCM-CiscoUnifiedCM CPG1 3500/ Berkeley_Part_911
deleteuser rsmith Smith CISCOUS
deleteuser bclark Clark CISCOUS
This example will show how you can mix the order types keeping common headers across the batch.
Hopefully this will get you going.

Dwayne,
It is the product name. You asked it to add just a phone. If you want a phone and a line in the same order then order "phone service". The batch function for user service follows the base and bundles you see in the Subscriber Role UI.
Base Products: | Client User Settings Enable Mobility Support Enable Presence Enable Presence Client Enable SoftPhone Support Extension Mobility Access Extension Mobility Line Line Line on a Shared Phone Phone Remote Destination Profile Remote Destination Profile Line Unified Messaging User Services Voicemail |
Product Bundles: | Enable Client Service (Includes Client User Settings and Enable Presence Client) |

It was the Domain Thanks I put it in and it worked. But now after I provsion the Phone as such :
OrderType | UserID | FirstName | LastName | Domain | ProductName | Phone Type | ServiceArea | MAC Address | Phone Button Template | Line Type | Directory Number |
add | drattan123 | Dwayne | rattan123 | TTPS_POS | Phone | Cisco 7912 | Charge_Room | 0011927c04d3 | Standard 7912 SCCP | Chosen Line | 1203 |
the phone registers but the line number does not come up and it says the line has reached its' limit. Could I be using the wrong productname or type ?

Dwayne

Yes. Use the cancel phone before using the add phone
OrderType UserID ServiceArea ProductName Object Name
cancel SampleUser1 SampleServiceArea Phone 00001000000a
cancel SampleUser2 SampleServiceArea Phone 00001000000b

You first need to choose a domain or create a new one. Then click on Configure Service Area.
You will then see the rows to create service areas. You work on these till you are confident they are set the way you want them, perhaps copying some and making minor changes. When you are satisfied submit the job and it will do the work of setting the service areas up. It will take a few minutes to complete and the UI will remain during the provisoining process.

Hi Anthony,
Could you please help me how to create the batch file which can help us to add/edit phones in CUCM10.x.
It would be really helpful if you share the steps from scratch as batch is new for me.
Thanks & Regards,
Saif
