Unity System Distribution Members Help?

I am running Unity 7.1.5

I created a System Distribution List. Is it possible for an Extension to have mulple names listed in a directory? We have 3 users that share the same phone, so it has a generic phone alias. But They want the directory to identify 3 users to this extension.

I went into the extension and adde "alternate names" I even created users without a mailbox with these same names. But anytime I try to add members to the distribution list, these users are not available for me to add to the directory.

Is it possible to do?

Hi there,

You should be able to set up these 3 users as "contacts" via cucadmin

and have them all transfer to the same shared extension I just tested this out

and it works the way you would like and doesn't use any licenses.

This is great information. I have a question? I created the contact and enabled the transfer extension. However, when I go back to my System Distribution List, I am unable to search and locate the "user" to add to my distribution list. It doesn't show in the database directory either (it does not give me an option to choose from contacts). I tried to then create a user w/out mailbox, but it will not allow me to re-use the alias "The ALias has already been assigned to another object in this VMS location.

Sorry, I was trying the "all user" built-in directory handler and DL. I didn't have to add

the new contacts anywhere they were automatically added to both voice enabled and

"dial by name" directories
