Unity upgrade 4.X to 7.X

Hi There,

I am upgrading from Unity 4.x to 7.X, I am upgrading my users using unity7-vup-k9 but i also have a failover server, is there anything else I need to order or is failover thansfered from 4.X to 7.X free of charge?

I am not sure what you mean by free of charge. You still need to do a base install of Unity 7.x on the failover Unity. As long as the license you have for 7.x includes a failover server, once you do the failover configuration wizard, the proper licensing gets copied to the failover server. Does that answer the question? I hope I understood correctly.

I think you just need to get your 4 to 7 upgrade licenses from cisco. that is what I did. I also have failover.

you will need your 4 lics and also a 5.x upgrade lic on your server.
