The next generation rack infrastructure is now orderable in CCW, including new Cisco R42612 Rack and RP Series Metered Input Power Distribution Units (PDUs). The new rack and PDUs are optimized for Cisco UCS platforms and compatible with Cisco UCS Integrated Infrastructure.
Cisco R42612 is a 1200mm deep 42U industry standard 19-inch rack. With a deeper design than the previous generation R42610 rack, it provides ample room for power, cooling, cable management and serviceability. The new rack comes in two models for installation at customer site:
Cisco R42612 standard rack, with side panels for single and end-of-row deployments
Cisco R42612 expansion rack, no side panels for multiple rack deployments
The RP Series Metered Input PDUs feature phase and section metering, remote monitoring through network communication, ±1% billing grade accuracy, an advanced LCD pixel display, IEC outlet grip plug retention, and a high operating temperature. The PDUs come in seven models:
