adding more vHBAs to UCS

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to add a new vHBAs port because I'm planning to set vHBA(s) as passthrough from the Hypervisor to VMs

We have the following setup & equipment:

1 x Cisco UCS 5108 Chassis
4 x Cisco UCS B200 M5 Blades Servers. all are boot from SAN
2 x Cisco UCS 6332-16up Fabric Interconnects
2x MDS 9148 San Switch
NetApp Storage SAN (FC Mode)

The goal of the project is to add 2 additional vHBA to each blade server Currently each blade has 2 vHBA

This is short what I want to do.

So, when I went to SAN_TMP and tried to create more HBAs

Here is what I have

and here before i apply i got the below warning !!!

Here I stick to it,, not sure what will happen ...

If anyone could offer some insight or suggestions with a little clue or steps in this would be greatly appreciated. Because I'm not with San's experience ..

Greetings.

Make sure your WWPN pool and MAC pools have enough available addresses,and that the vHBA is pointing to your real pools, and not the default one(which probably doesn't have any blocks of IDs), or the 'derived' option.
