I am trying to get B230 working for Boot from SAN on disk type being SAS on the array.
On the B230's, is there anything different that has to be done to get boot from SAN working? Has anybody else tried this?
200M2's Boot from SAN on SAS without any issues on the same UCS.
Any pointers?

Skumar,
There's no difference what disk types are on the Array. This is transparent to the blades, and only relevant to the array.
- Are the B230's and B200's using the exact same boot policy?
- What adapter are you using in the B230's?
- Can you see the B230's FLOGI into the SAN switch?

Robert,
I noticed that before I start creating the service profile (SP), everything is fine in terms of connectivity. No link downs or any other connectivity faults. As soon as SP is created and bound to the blade, I get the following errors.
- (service profile: org-root/ls-test1) has an invalid FRU: mismatch-identity-unestablishable"
- ERR-IBMC-fru-retrieval-error Message: Could not get Fru from 7f050203
- "Adapter host interface 1/5/1/1 link state: down"
- "Virtual interface 734 link state is down"
Some component seems to be incompatible!! and hence is complaining about invalid Field Replaceable Unit.
Any pointers??
