Hi all,

could anybody provide best practce of BIOS policy for VMware and Windows 2008 servers?

David,

Other than the defaults BIOS settings, "best practices" recommendations for advanced BIOS settings would be best advised by the OS vendors.    The defaults in place match those of the "industry standard" including settings for Intel VT, Hyper-threading, Speedstep etc.

If I come across any 3rd party VMware and/or Microsoft suggested tweaks I'll update the thread.
