BIOS System Time

Q. is the BIOS system time set by means of the NTP based information of the fabric interconnect ? see screenshot

I have a customer having problems; BIOS time is not in synch ?

Q. can the BIOS time be set by means of CLI and / or Service Profile (BIOS Policy) ?

No for both. However you can change the BIOS clock via same GUI. No CLI for BIOS in x86 systems.

This means manual intervention; no automation / scripting ? correct ?

Just to add, automation is not possible bcos BIOS is pre-boot stage. You can do automation in OS i.e. after boot.

It is same as "rommon" mode of cisco devices and we can't do any automation in that :-)
