I'm running a SQL server on a Cisco BL 480 M5 with 112 Cores assigned and 3tb of memory. I believe that there are 4 numa nodes in the BL 480 M5. The VM isn't having trouble from a user perspective. But I'm seeing high CPU Ready numbers. It is the only VM on the host as well. The current cpu assignment is 56 sockets by 2 number of cores per socket. Ready numbers are averaging 113ms. With a low of 73ms and a high of 442ms. Would changing the cpu core to socket allocation improve those numbers? Also, is there any bios setting that should be set that can improve those numbers?
Thanks.
