I am trying to boot from san to netapp luns and I have a questions

I have 2 controllers on netapp and a totl of 4 WWPNs

ControllerA has WWPN:

0d interface: 50:0a:09:81:80:b0:0f:8a

0c interface: 50:0a:09:82:80:b0:0f:8a

controllerB has WWPN

0d interface: 50:0a:09:81:90:b0:0f:8a

0c interface: 50:0a:09:82:90:b0:0f:8a

does it matter which order create my boot from san policy?  Do I need to change the order of the  SAn primary or secondary ?  what if I have my boot luns on both controllers?

this is how I have it currently

Tony,

This config should work for most of modern OSes (you will perform flogi/plogi for everything configured) and let multipathing drivers do the rest.

The only thing that pops into my mind to contrary was some odd behavior with (older?) Windows when initial boot from SAN (when installing OS) had to be done over a single path, until MPIO was installed on the OS. After installing MPIO one could move to the 4 paths.
