C250M2 memory upgrade with 8GB and 4 GB

Hi

we have C250 m2 dual CPU servers with 128GB =32 X 4GB memory modules and now we have purchased 8GB memory modules to add to same servers.

When I install newly purchased 6 x 8GB modules with existing 4GB modules it gives an memory error.

Need to know whether mixing of 8GB & 4GB is not supported configuration or any workaround to resolve this mater.

Mixing DIMMS is possible with the UCS C250 M1, please see the guide here;

Note The 4-, 8-, or 12-DIMM configurations are not supported in UCS C250 Generation M2 servers. 

The 4-, 8-, or 12-DIMM configurations are supported in UCS C250 Generation M1 only.
