Can not ping CIMC can anyone help me !!!

Hi,

I have CUCM (pub and sub) on different sites. I am not able to ping nor I can open it in (SSH, Telnet, http and https) CIMC. I restarted the chasis and took the powercable out for 30 sec but still not able to ping it. Can anyone please help me in this. Thanks.

Please provide more information to help you out.

Is your CUCM hosted on UCS rack or blade server ?

Are you trying to ping from host in same subnet / vlan as CUCM VM ?

Hi,

My CUCM is hosted on UCS rack and I am trying to ping it from my computer that is on different subnet. However, I am able to ping ESXi that is on same subnet as CIMC from my computer that is on different vlan.

Hello Rohit,

Is your CUCM VM MAC address learned on correct VLAN by the upstream switch port ?

Can you ping the VM from the same subnet ?
