cant install vmware 5 on ucs c220 m3

i have an old ucs c220 m3 and i want to install vmware 5 on it using an external dvd drive to boot up the image of vmware , the thing is whenever it boots then it ask me to choose what storage to install it on i get this error in the picture

Two questions:

-Are you using the embedded RAID controller or a Mezzanine/PCIe RAID controller?

-Are you using the Cisco's customed image for the ESXi installation?
