Hi,
I was hoping someone can point me in the right direction, been to support and they didn't know or didn't get what I was asking.
I currently have two sets of Fabric interconnects 1 in one data centre and also another in a different datacentre.
I have been given just one PAK code which has 120 licence on it, I have looked and started using the UCS licence PDF but this doesn't explain my situation. The PDF I have attached to this post.
How do I split the ports of the PAK code into different FI and which FI serial number do I pick as the license web page says I need to run a command on the FI directly and the PDF explains I just need the serial out of the Java GUI.
So can anyone tell me how to split the PAK code, so I can license the two sets of FI’s?
Thanks for any help
Paul

Paul,
You should be able to redeem the PAK on the licensing portal.
https://tools.cisco.com/SWIFT/LicensingUI/Quickstart
Along with the Host-IDs of all FI's, you can then redeem X licenses against a particular Host-ID #. Then the license file you'd install on the FI's would be emailed to you. Akk license files are tied to the Host-ID/Serial #.
UCS-A# scope licenseUCS-A /license # show server-host-id
Server host id: Scope Host Id ----- ------- A VDH=SSI12121212 B VDH=SSI13131313
Regards,
Robert
