Dear Folks

I need to add new vlan in global vnic service profile template.

Created new vlan and published in UCS domain.If i add the VLAN in vnic template whether it will affect the baldes which is running already ?

Greetings.

Simply defining an additional vlan, and pushing that down via service profile to the vnics, does not require a reboot or is disruptive.

Just make sure the vnic you are adding the vlan to, has all the same vlans that are pinned to the same uplink... This would only be something to further investigate if you have a disjoint layer 2 configuration and multiple uplinks that allow different vlans.
