I'm looking at using SCOM monitoring to monitor and alert on UCS Fabric Interconnect performance however I have not found any pertinent information indicating if this is doable in SCOM or not. Any guidance on this is greatly appreciated.

Hello,
This should be helpful:
https://communities.cisco.com/docs/DOC-54464
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/unified_computing/ucs/sw/msft_tools/installation_guide/SCOM/b_Management_Pack_Installation_Guide/b_Management_Pack_Installation_Guide_chapter_010.html
You should be able to monitor your performance, etc with SCOM and UCSM.
HTH,
Wes

I believe the question is how to create an ALERTING Performance monitor. I have this requirement as well. The SCOM management pack collects performance starting with UCS Management pack version 4, but it does not have performance monitors, it only has performance collection rules.
I am trying to create a performance monitor for Fabric Interconnect CPU load, since there is not one available out of box. Is this possible?
