Hi All,
Just a quick question. I will be replacing a failed CMOS Battery on my Cisco UCS C210 server. My main question is will there be any loss of specific configuration settings besides the typical Bios settings?

Marcus,
No. There should not be any other configuration affected by performing such action.

Hello Markus,
I totally agree with jchavesd.
however kindly make sure to replace the battery only with the same or equivalent type recommended by the manufacturer.as there is danger of explosion if the battery is replaced incorrectly.
thought basics but I wanted to bring this to your notice :)
I believe you have got the replacement battery through TAC.
thanks,
-SK
