Compatibility question UCS-Vmware

Hi,

I would like to ask if there any incompatibility if I upgrade my UCS mini where I am running VMware ESXi 5.5.0 Update 2 and we want to upgrade the firmware to 3.1(1e) as per CISCO TAC recommendation.

Hi Alex,

Regardless of the UCS Mini if the matrix tool you would need to use the firmware version of the blade in question. The example screenshot is below, this is reffering to a B200-M4 Blade, from the Cisco Matrix Tool listed above the screenshot. To see what hardware the UCS Mini supports you can reference to the UCS mini release notes which is linked below as well.

Table 7 and Table 8 in the link below show the hardware supported:
