Configure FI port as Access port

We need to connect a UCS C220 server in a FI and reach a network. c220 servers 40gb slot are connected to 6332-16up 40 gb port. If I set the port to network uplink. my vms on other servers got lost connection. maybe because if Netwprk uplink configuration by default is in trunk mode. what is the proper way that I can specifically assign a vlan in a port in FI or basically configure it as access port.

FI uplink ports are designed to be trunks.

The only ports I am aware of that can be similar to access are 'appliance' ports.

If you are trying to configure one specific set of ports to go to a specific upstream device/set of vlans, then you just need to correctly configure disjoint layer 2.
