Hi,
I've been told that UCS Blade Servers have some parts that are considered consumable so the customer must purchase them if they need to replace them. Apparently, one of those parts is the CMOS Battery (PID = N20-MBLIBATT). Is there any public document with a list of such consumable parts that I can share with the customer?
Thanks,
Gabriel.

Hi Gabriel,
Some parts may be considered consumable by Cisco, in the sense that the defective parts are not required to be returned to asset recovery, after it they been replaced.
You can usually tell this, when a particular RMA does not show any return date for the defective part/s.
Thanks.
