we are trying to deploy a windows server vm on our UCS-E 160S Server to act as the local DHCP Server. However, it seems the DHCP requests are not making it to the server. Has anyone done this successfully? The VLANs are defined on the 4331 router as sub-interfaces and we have an ip helper-address defined on the sub-interfaces. We have the static route that points to ucse1/0/1 for the DHCP Server VM.
VLAN IP's are defined on sub-interfaces of G0/0/1
interface ucse1/0/1
ip unnumbered GigabitEthernet0/0/1
ip nat inside
ip nbar protocol-discovery
no negotiation auto
switchport mode trunk
no cdp enable
no mop enabled
no mop sysid
service-policy input Mark-Inbound
