Hey friends,
found various threads about disabling Secure Boot on Secure Appliances based on UCS C-Series. But it is not clear to me if anyone ever managed to do so.
Got a FMC 4600 based on UCS C220 M5 at hand. Would be one hell of a waste throwing the whole box to the trash.. but can't get around the Secure Boot ...
Any updates on this topic, or really not possible in any way?

Typically with those security appliances it is forced on with a chain of trust that only allow them to boot certain signed images to ensure integrity of the appliance.

You could easily scavenge the rest of the components. All you would really need is a new motherboard. You could reuse everything else including the CPU's. It is probably cheaper on eBay to get a chassis with the motherboard even though that is a bit wasteful.
