Dynamic vNIC MAC addresses

Hi All!

In the UCS Cetral we've applied the Dynamic vNIC connection policy to the whole Service Profile. After that 54 dynamic vNICs were created, respectively. But they were created without any MAC addresses. It causes the error while associating SP to the blade server. Does that mean I have manually choose the MAC pool in the properties of any created dynamic vNIC or there is some other way to assign MAC on the stage of vNIC creation? Thanks  in advance!

Can you please post the error message.

It is correct, that a dynamic vnic doesn't get a mac address up front; this happens, once you bind the interface to a VM.

are you using vNIC templates and dynamic vNIC policy ? See eg: http://cybergav.in/category/cisco-ucs/#sthash.FhA4SHJh.dpuf
