Hi everybody.
I have a new issue with a client.
My client has a UCS C220 platform. Some days ago the ESXi of this server was shut down, but there isn't register of somebody did that. My client said there was a power failure at his office and maybe that was the cause of ESXi was shut down, but the CIMC wasn't shut down.
My doubt is: Is there a way to ESXi shut down and CIMC doesn't shut down if there is a power failure at the office? Or, is there a way to CIMC power on after a power failure but ESXi doesn't?
I will appreciate a lot the help you can give me.

A power failure will bring down everything ESXi and Cimc. If you shutdown ESXi, then Cimc is of course still up and running !
I would check the log file of the server !
