hi folks,

I created two vSAN one on the fabric interconnt (vSAN ID = 100) A and one vSAN on the fabric interconnect B vSAN ID (200). I created the same on MDS A (vSAN 100) and vSAN 200 on the MDS B. I changed the vHBA template vSAN from the default to the created vSAN. when i issued show flogi database i didn't see any wwpn of my vHBA of the blades.

for you information , when i used the default vSAN 1 on the fabric interconnects (A&B) and MDS (A&B) , I can see my vHBA.

I want to use two different vsan.

Thanks.

UCSM in the default 'End Host" mode for FC switching, requires your upstream FC switches to have NPIV role, that knows how to hand out multiple FCIDs to the NPV ports on the FIs.

Assuming you have zoning correct, and that the UCS and MDS port have matching 'trunking' config.
