Hi,

our Customer installed 2.2(5b) UCS firmware version on a B series pod. In "Server -General" tab, we see "Unlock FP Buttons".

What is the FP Button?

Thank you.

Regards,

Luca

I assume it's Front Panel buttons ? Previously this was only available in BIOS setup. Eg. you would like to disable that someone having access to the datacenter can reset a blade !

It is Front Panel buttons. It's just s display as to whether the bios policy has the buttons locked out or not.

Its helpful to to us as we do have some highly restricted systems that we do not want anyone tampering with the physical host. We have also disable them on ESXi boxes since one press of the power button can take down 20 servers at once.
