I am a student, and at our school we have a cisco ucs c220 m3 server. I want to install that server with CentOS. I usually run Centos and other OS on VirtualBox and VMware. so I am new to this assignment. can you provide other documentation / videos to complete this task. I searched for this assignment and still didn't get it.

I believe you going to CIMC upgrade performed Physically, So the information should remain the same as OLD - IP other information (until unless mentioned anywhere that all erased - in this case not - as per my experience).
Look at another side even it lost the information, i believe the CIMC is mostly used DHCP Settings default and on the screen, it will show you what IP address it was allocated also.

i already check and show support. for installing this os i need drivers from download manager and iso centos ? my cimc is old if i upgrade the configuration like static ip is erased/back to default or not ?
