How to update embedded software Raid

We used HUU updated a C220 M3 server from 1.5.1f to 2.0.9c.  The server use embedded  software raid controller.  After update, the server boot stuck at the Raid controller, never can boot pass it.  While load the HUU, the raid controller was never detected.  So, I assumed it was not updated by HUU.

When we downgrade the CIMC back to 1.5.1f, the server boot pass the Raid and to OS successfully.

Anybody have any idea how to update the software embedded Raid controller?

Thanks!

Grace

Greetings.

The embedded raid firmware is part of the BIOS firmware component I believe.

It may be possible that a number of boot option capability changes between 1.5.1f and 2.0.9c have somehow disabled the SCU/optionROM.

If you have some time, re-upgrade to 2.09c, confirm that the embedded/SCU controller is still enabled in the BIOS/F2 settings, and also check your boot order.

Thanks,

Kirk...
