Hi Guys,
A customer of our is experiencing SMTP errors from the hyperflex setup they have. I know it's an exchange related error but i need to know how to fix it. So they had exchange on prem and this all worked. They moved to exchange online and now it's failing. I imagine the sending ip addresses have changed. Is this something cisco needs to amend or is this something that can be sorted from exchange?
The bit that says the recipient has exceed their limit is telling me this is something cisco needs to check.

Karl,
We're aware of this situation and you are correct that it is an email server configuration on our end. Our Hyperflex product team is working to get this fixed and I'll try to come back and post here when that happens.

Has there been any update on this? We are seeing a lot of SMTP email failures with the error : "5.2.122 The recipient has exceeded their limit for the number of messages they can receive per hour."

We're still in the process of putting together official information on this, but it looks like what we're doing to address this is reduce the emails which are being sent to the asup mail address. There are cron jobs for certain hourly and daily emails which were disabled in HX 4.0(2e) and 4.5(2a). The more clusters on these releases the better because of the overall reduced email traffic, but we should be able to go in and modify those cron jobs on earlier versions if you open a case.
