hi I try to make the wwnp from pool and it succedd and take a profile to server but it shows me the link1/1/1/1 is down any suggestion ....

does it needs PIN group doe lan annd SAN

Hi Mohammed,

If you are applying the service profile to a blade with the CISCO virtualization card and have specified the option of using the dervied mac or wwpn/wwnn the association will fail as the card does not have any burned-in mac or wwpn/wwnn.

using th pool (as in your case) is the solution to this issue.

for the link down, unless you have the OS installed on the blade the link will be marekd down. This is duye to the driver missing on the blade to bring up the link.
