I cannot find a Solaris FC driver for UCS, and some old posts I found while Googling suggest that others have been able to install Solaris. However, my Solaris installer cannot see any HBAs. What am I missing? The UCS config works, this same blade will boot to VMware ESX and can see attached disks.

I cannot find SUN Solaris 11 on the Cisco interop list ?
http://www.cisco.com/web/techdoc/ucs/interoperability/matrix/matrix.html
However, the SUN HCL shows UCS systems

Checking one entry shows the date os rather old, and it uses non Cisco VIC adaptors.

Referring to a previous Solaris post at https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/13106216/cisco-ucs-c-220m4-solaris-10, and reviewing the interop matrix, it appears that Solaris support for platforms with processors higher than SandyBridge(V1) are not included on the Cisco UCS support matrix in general.
Looking at the driver bundles for blades in the 2.2x range, there are no fnic drivers for Solaris.
Checking rack server driver bundles, I went back as far as 1.54, still did not see FNIC drivers.
There were some Qlogic and Emulex listed HBAs/CNAs, but Solaris completely drops out at 2.06HUU or higher interop, and UCSM 3.1x and higher no longer reference it.
Thanks,
Kirk
