Dear All,

we are trying to install windows 2008 r2 64 on UCS b-series server. during the installation it give us no signed device drivers were found.

we have downloaded the ucs drivers for b-series version 2.1.2a and 2.1.3a and tried to load the drivers from both of them but didn't work and windows still can't find any disk drives to install on it.

the UCS version on the FI is 2.1.2a. and the firmware for the server adapter is 2.1.3a.

also when we open the drivers iso image we can't find the driver for the VIC 1240.

your help is highly appreciated.

best regards

Hi,

I have solved the issue by find the correct driver to find the disk drive. this is the location for the disk driver :

\\Windows\Storage\LSI\2004\W2K8R2\x64. after you install this driver you can partition and format your disk.

then it will give you an error msg that "windows is unable to install to the selected location error 0x80300001".

from this point you can just remap the windows iso image again then this msg will disappear and you can proceed with the installation.

Hi,

now I am facing the issue on B440 M2 blade server. the drive contoller is LSI megasas 9260.

best regards,

Osama,

Look up the drivers in the folder according to the RAID controller used :

\\Windows\Storage\LSI\2004\W2K8R2\x64  <<< I am almost sure the controller for the first server was a model 2004, so look for 9260 now...
