I am pretty sure you are looking at the internal PC created by the 2nd Gen hardware... what Adapters, IOMs and FIs do you have?

Tony,

All port-channels you see with "Protocol = None" are the internal PCs, the uplink port channels will show up as "Protocol = LACP" , see below:

F340-22-25-CR-FI-6248-A(nxos)# sh port-channel summary
Flags:  D - Down        P - Up in port-channel (members)
        I - Individual  H - Hot-standby (LACP only)
        s - Suspended   r - Module-removed
        S - Switched    R - Routed
        U - Up (port-channel)
M - Not in use. Min-links not met
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Group Port-       Type     Protocol  Member Ports
      Channel
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1     Po1(SD)     Eth      LACP      Eth1/17(I)   Eth1/18(D)
1289  Po1289(SU)  Eth      NONE      Eth1/1/29(P)  Eth1/1/30(P)  Eth1/1/31(P)
                                     Eth1/1/32(P)
1290  Po1290(SU)  Eth      NONE      Eth1/1/21(P)  Eth1/1/23(P)
1291  Po1291(SU)  Eth      NONE      Eth1/1/25(P)  Eth1/1/26(P)  Eth1/1/27(P)
                                     Eth1/1/28(P)

To show you, I created a PC with the ports 17 & 18 (but I have nothing else configured there or in the upstream switch, that is the reason why you see them in (I) and (D)

I hope that helps.

-Kenny
