Is it possible to create a read only or restricted access local user on Nexus 1000v?

Hi,

I need to allow a customer access to a Nexus 1000V VSM via command line. On Virtual ASA context firewalls I can do this easily via privileges and local AAA accounts.

But I have not found a way this can be done on the 1000V without the use of tacacs.

Any suggestions?

Have a read through the security configuration guide.  You should be able to create a read-only local account that meets your requirements.
