I'm having issues syncing LDAP group maps for ucs central to allow login for UCS-M. They are not syncing properly.

Hi Mark,

Hope your week is going well. If you could answer the following questions it would greatly help me.

Are we having other issues with Central to UCSM communication, or just this LDAP configuration?
Do you have any pre-existing LDAP configuration that is working, or is this the first implementation of LDAP?
Are you applying the LDAP configuration to the root organization with Central?

If you can go ahead and go to Operations Management --> Operational Policies --> Security --> Locales make sure there are organizations assigned there, if there are not this will not work.

So if that is the case go to Administration --> User and Authentication --> Locales --> Properties --> Assign/Unassign  Organization --> Make sure that both the organization and the root are there. If just the ROOT is there it will not work and vice versa if just the organization is there it will not work.

Once you do that try to re-log into central and refresh and verify that the operations management tab is showing under your organization.

Hope this helps.
