I just want to know when the next Cisco customized esxi 8.03 image for UCS C serves servers is released from Cisco.

Don't hold your breath for an updated customised Cisco ESXi ISO, because there are so many different combinations of OS builds and firmware versions out there. I would strongly recommend you planning your deployment cycle around there not being any new customised ISOs for 8.0 U3. My recommendation is

  • Install your server with the latest available Cisco customised ISO for 8.0 U3.
  • Update to the latest OS patch level (e.g. 8.0 U3d). This will not overwrite anything in the customised ISO, since the customised ISO contains newer components (e.g. enic/fnic), or additional packages (e.g. UCS Tools) than what ship with the non-customised ESXi patch level / offline bundle.
  • If you are running firmware that is newer than the version supported by the customised ISO (as indicated by the UCS HCL), update to the latest VMware Vendor Add-on (currently Cisco-UCS-Addon-ESXi 4.3.4-a & Cisco-UCS-Addon-ESXi 4.3.5-a). This is available via (strongly recommended) vSphere Lifecycle Manager or as a standalone download, (if you prefer applying it manually, and know where to look on the Broadcom software download site).

The only reason I can imagine Cisco releasing an updated customised ISO, is if they release new server models which have minimimum UCS firmware versions and therefore require newer versions of the customised ISOs, for example an M8 server requiring 4.3(5) which is not supported by the previous version of the customised ISO built for M7 / 4.3(2). Even if Cisco do not release an updated ISO to support M8, you can still install with the older customised ISO (which "should still work"), but afterwards update the vendor add-ons to get you to a supported combination of server/firmware/drivers.
