no Hard disk found UCS C240 M4

I have purchased  a new server three days before

This  my first server for my home lab

ucs c240 M4

64 Gb (2 x 32 gb)

1 cpu

single hard disk 1.2 TB 10 SAS

i wanted to install Exsi on to this but failed as my HDD is not detected in BIOS

can some one help me please. Any thing I searched is leading me raid but as I am not able to see my HDD i am not able to follow those steps

please help me

Can you see the HDD in the CIMC?

Also, if the PCIe card that you are installing is a RAID controller card, firmware on the RAID controller must be verified for compatibility with the current Cisco IMC and BIOS versions that are installed on the server. If not compatible, upgrade or downgrade the RAID controller firmware accordingly using the Host Upgrade Utility (HUU) for your firmware release to bring it to a compatible level.

Thanks, looks like I was right and he has to upgrade the software/BIOS version.
