Hi,
UCS sets OEM string data into the BIOS that includes the service profile and service template name.
This is what it looks like when I run smbiosdump:
OEM Strings: #23
Cisco1
$SPI:DEN-ESX-A6
$SPT:99-Hot_Standby
$SYS:DEN-UCSFI-01
However, the SPT value doesn't actually change when I bind the service profile to a new template.
I am using updating templates and the BIOS scrub policy is enabled.
Is there anything else I'm missing?
