Hi Gurus
We are keen to evaluate Cisco OTV & Fabricpath, as well as VXLAN. Would you be able to help in listing out the pros & cons between these technologies? We are looking at simulating 4 sites interconnected fully-meshed Active/Active setup. We would want to narrow down to 2 solutions so that the PoC would not be so resource intensive and time-consuming. Thanks.
Regards
Aaron

i did it with a 3 site setup,. 6 x 5672s connected via fiber (going to be DWDM)., could be more in a ring or meshed.
used a "Breaking Point" traffic simulator to blast large amounts of traffic through.
Pulled the plug on L2 links, L3 links, failed 5Ks, failed DWDM links ... max failover time was 2 seconds ... minimum was under 1 second
Worked better/faster/more transparent than I thought.
