PMON command not found

The article says PMON stop and start would resolve the issue. But unable to locate the PMON command after connect local-management.

Could some one help please.

Can you please confirm which article references this?

Let me start by saying that PMON stop/start should not be conducted unless in a planned maintenance window and/or you understand the health of the UCSM database. Pmon restart is harmless, as it just restarts management services on the FI, however, if you are in a non-healthy state, this could cause bigger problems.

UCS#connect local

UCS(local-mgmt)#pmon stop

UCS(local-mgmt)#pmon start
