Problem upgrading old c200 M2 stand alone server

Hello.

I have two old Cisco u200 M2 stand-alone servers that I wanted to revive to use in a lab environment. But I thought it would be a good idea to first update BIOS and firmware.

So I downloaded ucs-c200-huu-1.4.3z09.iso, that seems to be the latest bundle for this older model, booted the machine.

The first issue I encountered is that the upgrade of the LSI 1064E mezzanine card failes with a error message. The card currently have version 1.29 installed, and the HUU contains version 1.32. However, when trying to upgrade I get the error message: "/lib/firmware/lsiUpdateFunction.sh line 711: unary operator expected."

I tried to download an erlier version, ucs-c200-huu-1.4.3z07.iso, but this has the same issue.

The other upgrades work without any issues. Have anyone else experienced this? Might there be some kind of upgrade path perhaps?

The other issue that I have encountered is that after upgrade of CIMC, DHCP assigned address to the management card is no longer displayed in the startup splash screen, not ever if you enter the CIMC setup utility you can see the DHCP address that is assigned to the card. Is this a known bug, and is there a fix for it?

The server is currently running the following versions:

BIOS: 1.4.3o.0
CIMC: 1.4(3z09)
LSI 1064E: 1.29

Best regard,
Johan Ch

It may not be possible to upgrade directly to the newest version. I think you will have to review the upgrade path options in the release notes. You may need to do an intermediate upgrade to get to the newest version.
