Chaps,
If is just me but all previos versions of 1000v software take the naming convention
nexus-1000v-kickstart-mz.X.X.X.SVx.X.bin
An now I have the latest software:
nexus-1000v-kickstart.4.2.1.SV2.1.1a.bin
Am I missing a trick here? Or has there been a change in policy?
Many thanks,
Nik

Hi Nik,
You are correct. Starting in SV1(5.2b) we changed the nomenclature and have removed -mz. I don't have additional insight on why mz was there in the first place. All SV2 versions do not have -mz.
Hope that helps,
Joe

Thank you Joe. Perhaps I shouldn't let this sort of thing bother me, but I guess I just like to see a consistent use of nomenclature - the absence of which alarms me. I take on board what you say and thank you for confirming this.
